The Trauma Centre provides specialised counselling and support to male and female survivors affected by or living with the traumatic effects of domestic violence, sexual violence, child sexual abuse, and sexual exploitation (including human trafficking and modern slavery

Our service at the Trauma Centre is run entirely by dedicated, professionally qualified therapists who are experienced in resolving trauma and complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Our therapists are fully insured and members of respected, professional therapy organisations.

We also provide:

A welcoming and safe environment.
Choice of a male or female therapist.
Therapy, support, information and practical advice for partners.
Support and therapy for clients attending court.

Making A Referral

We accept Professional Referrals from organizations such as Victim Support, Preston Road Women's Centre, The Blue Door, the NHS (e.g., your GP), and others. These organizations are familiar with our online professional referral system and will complete a referral on your behalf if they think our help is appropriate.

If you are from a professional organisation and wish to make a referral please use our form.

Please be aware that our current waiting list is approximately 6 months, referrals will be dealt with in order of receipt.

Regrettably, Due to high demand we are not taking referrals for under 18's or self-referrals at this time.
